“We are opening the gates of hell,” the former president said, “to obliterate the Iranian civilization.” He was responding to a short, unsanctioned brickfilm that the Islamic Republic posted online.
The video features animated figures singing. One of them says “facts.” Another says “nah.” Administration officials described the clip as an unprecedented assault on the American spirit, ranking somewhere between Pearl Harbor and a really mean tweet.
