WASHINGTON — The White House on Wednesday characterized the diplomatic humiliation of Rancid Orange Fuck-Nuckle by the leaders of China and Russia as a "strong military position," officials said, adding that a newly announced presidential ballroom with a drone-equipped roof would "send a clear message" of American resolve.

The remark came hours after Chinese President Xi Jinping unveiled a grand public exhibit titled "Unbreakable Alliance" featuring floor-to-ceiling photographs of himself and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The display, staged in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing, was scripted to underscore what state media called a "multi-polar world order" — a direct contrast to the rose seeds Xi had handed the president only days earlier.

Those seeds, a variety engineered to bloom in shades of gold, were presented with little ceremony. Putin, by comparison, received a formal military honor guard and a signing ceremony for 16 bilateral agreements. When asked about the disparity on an airport tarmac, the president told reporters, "He told me he was going to. I think it's good."

An aide later clarified that the president was referring to Xi's advance notice of the Putin meeting, not the overall strategic defeat. "The president views the rose seeds as a symbol of our blossoming partnership," said press secretary Karoline Leavitt, reading from a statement. "The drone port ballroom, however, is the kinetic component of that partnership, designed to counter whatever photo exhibit the Chinese are doing."

The ballroom in question is a $1.776 billion construction project the president has promoted for weeks. During an unrelated press availability, he insisted the facility was "very military complex." He added, without prompting, "The roof is actually a drone port. It gives great safety to everything below."

Leavitt confirmed the ballroom would host state dinners and, if necessary, deploy MQ-9 Reaper drones from retractable ceiling panels. "We see this as a whole-of-government response to soft-power photo ops," she said. The Pentagon, she added, was finalizing a catering menu that met the operational requirements of a semi-autonomous rotor-wing division.

The administration did not respond to an inquiry about how the drones would operate during a receiving line. A follow-up request about whether the "Unbreakable Alliance" exhibit had been formally designated a terrorist propaganda installation was placed on a 90-day review schedule pending budget approval.
