The White House confirmed Tuesday that its strategic communications to Iran will now consist entirely of AI-generated images depicting the former president as a cartoon pirate seizing oil tankers. The initiative, titled the Visual Asymmetric Messaging Operation (VAMO), marks the first time a nuclear-armed nation has outsourced its wartime posture to a consumer-grade image generator.

Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt walked reporters through a slideshow of the initial deliverables. One frame showed Lumpy-Dumb-Dumb ripping an Iranian naval ensign while superimposed US fighter jets struck a badly-rendered Kharg Island. Another depicted an Iranian sailor hurling himself into the Persian Gulf beneath the caption “It’s our oil tanker now.” A third, labeled “Cosmic Commander,” featured the former president floating in a nebula. Leavitt said the portfolio had been compiled during a single overnight session in the residence.

“The president feels these visuals convey a kinetic authenticity that formal démarches do not,” Leavitt said. “Every JPEG is a precision-guided deterrent, scaled to penetrate the enemy’s morale architecture at a fraction of the cost of a Tomahawk missile.” She added that the White House Digital Messaging Unit now employs three prompt engineers and a licensed clip-art archivist.

The rollout coincided with a temporary suspension of kinetic operations against Iran, which the Pentagon attributed to a depletion of munitions stocks. Satellite imagery verified by allied intelligence showed wrecked hangars and cratered runways at five regional bases, including the installation where 19 US service members were killed last month. Leavitt declined to discuss the operational pause, redirecting all questions to a fresh batch of memes she described as “the Eid al-Fitr drop.”

The images have been posted to the former president’s official account, which has been repurposed as the primary distribution node for VAMO. One strategic communications officer, speaking on condition of anonymity, called the program “a logistics triumph.” The officer noted that the Navy’s entire surface fleet could be simulated for $29.99 a month, provided the prompts stayed under the strict character limit. “We can generate dominance faster than China can launch a satellite,” the officer said. “It’s a paradigm shift.”

Congressional reaction was subdued. The House Armed Services Committee requested a classified briefing after members realized the latest supplemental funding package contained a $79,000 line item for “Midjourney enterprise licenses.” A committee aide confirmed the request had been returned with a sticky note reading, “Strike on Kharg — full resolution enclosed.”
